Lvji (1477-?), his courtesy name is“Tingzhen”and his art name “Leyu”. He was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang. He was good at not only painting flowers and birds but also claborate-style painting and ink painting. He had developed the form of flower-and-bird painting. Together with Bian Jingzhao and Lin liang, he is known as one of the representatives of Flower-and-bird paintings in the style of the imperial-court in Ming Dynasty.
