Purple-gold glaze bowl

Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi’s reign (1662-1722)

Height: 5.5cm, Surface diameter: 9.8cm, Bottom diameter: 4.7cm

The purple-gold glaze is a high-melting glaze produced in Ding Kiln in Northern Song dynasty, which has been imitated by Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln in the Qing dynasty. The bottom of the bowl bears the mark “Made in Kangxi’s reign in Qing dynasty”.
